What is electrotherapy?

"Action Potential Triggers Muscle Contraction"

In electrotherapy, a current is introduced into the cell via direct skin contact. An action potential is triggered, which leads to a depolarisation of the cell. This results in muscle contraction.

The ZStim device features an LCD touch screen with intuitive software and electrode guidance, making it easy to apply and control electrodes in the desired application areas.
